Bruce D. Popp

 

Bruce D. Popp was awarded a Ph.D. in Astronomy by Harvard University and is a former telecom professional with experience in: software and hardware feature and requirements definition; business case and business plan development; and SONET and ATM network architecture and planning.  Bruce translates technical subjects from French to English.  He was a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Kikwit in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (then Zaïre) where he taught physics and math, and learned Kikongo (the Bandundu dialect) and some Lingala. He translates Kikongo into French and English. His full resume is also available.


Miriam I. Popp

 

Miriam Popp, Bruce's daughter,  and Jean Mutumene, his nephew, assist with translations from Lingala into English.
